I will be more than happy to secure summer internships for those students who show both a genuine passion and enthusiasm for such an internship and has demonstrated the serious responsibility to see the internship through.

You represent both yourself as well as the North Carolina School of the Arts – School of Filmmaking when you accept and take on such an internship.  We expect you to stand tall and work hard during the weeks that you will be working with some of the top facilities in the motion picture industry.

If you are interested in an internship, make an appointment to sit down and discuss an internship with me.  Relax, there is plenty of time to set up an internship, as I can secure one in very little time.  Even if we were to meet now I would not actually secure one for you until the Spring term – especially in light of uncertain schedules by Los Angeles firms.

My internship placements have been extremely successful and lead to “for pay” employment opportunities after you graduate – so take a summer internship seriously.

I secure internships out in Los Angeles for the following :

                    Production

a.        Production Assistant on production shoots.

b.       Production Picture Editorial venues for said shoots.

c.        Script reading / evaluation

d.       Executive Producer assistant (as available)

e.        Working with a stunt/producer on “reality” TV shows

  Post-Production

a. Sound Editorial services

b. Foley – Artist Asst. / Foley Mixing asst. / cuing asst.

  Post-Production

                  Rerecording facility venues
